The Devils debuted in the early 1970s, and stood out from the crowd with their soulful sound. In fact, the band saw themselves more as a soul band than a rock and roll band. Although no real hit was recorded by the group, in recent times the band has gained recognition for their historical importance and they even had a movie loosely based on them.
