이남이 (Lee Nam Yee)
Just like many other musician in Korea at the time, Lee Name Yee started his career by playing bass for various bands at US army bases. He cycled through various groups, and some even released albums, such as Kim Trio, Shin Joong Hyun & Yup Juns, and Seoul Traveller. In 1988, Lee Nam Yee sang 울고싶어라 (I Want To Cry) for the band Love & Peace which became an instant hit. This jump started his solo career, where he released three studio albums in the span of 4 years.
